‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ Philippians 4:6-7

Prayer Requests During the Week
Prayer requests can be submitted anytime during the week by:
- Call the church offices at 515-967-4818
- Notifying any staff member
- Email the church office at Office@lccaltoona.org
Our Prayer Line is a weekly email listing prayer concerns from members of our congregation. If you have a concern you’d like included on the Internet Prayer-line or if you’d like to join the prayer-line, contact Laurel.
The Prayer Room, where individuals or groups can gather to pray, is located behind the Welcome Center near the Worship Center. As we commit ourselves to prayer, God’s plans and purposes for us are revealed in amazing ways.
Prayer Request Forms
Personal prayer requests can be submitted to the Prayer Team, the Staff, or to the Prayer Line. Communication cards (found in the bulletin) can be placed in the offering plate or given to an usher or staff member.
Prayer Requests Following Worship
There are members from the Prayer Team available to pray with you following each service. You will be directed during worship as to where they will be located.
How can we pray for you? Post your prayer request on our prayer wall below. You can choose to have the request be anonymous, or not shared on the prayer wall at all. Or, for a private prayer request, use the “contact” tab to send a message to the office with your prayer request.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Please pray for our family, specifically my uncle, Bill. He began battling pancreatic cancer in January 2019 doctors began a procedure to remove the tumor two weeks ago and discovered the cancer has actually spread to his liver, there is nothing more to be done in terms of treatment.
Bill elected to come home from Kansas City and is at my mothers house with his fiancée. As of this morning there has been an additional, stronger pain medication added along with medication for anxiety. He and I discussed his relationship with Christ and he is prepared, however after a difficult day yesterday he is scared and struggling with fear.
Please pray for Bill, his fiancée Linda and my mother Barb (they are his caregivers at home).

Please pray for my friend Kellie. She's 41 years old and has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has 4 young children. She's a fighter, but I know this is going to be a tough battle.
Please also pray for our friend Grant. His hands are going numb and he's not able to work. He's going through a lot of testing right now to try and figure out what is wrong.

Please pray for my mom and I. Mom has been diagnosed with heart failure as of July 2018. The best we can hope for is close to normal. Prayers are needed for her to continue to push herself to be as active as she can and for her heart to continue to recover. I am in need of prayer as her primary caregiver and helper. Thanks to my church family.

My good friend Becky Anderson has cancer. Today they decided to stop chemo and send her home with Hospice care. Her liver and kidneys are failing. Becky is in her mid thirties, is married with 3 children. She has been saved by the blood of Jesus and for this I praise God. My heart and prayers are for the children ages 12, 7, and 3 (I think) and her husband. Jake, Max, Kael, and Nina are amazing people and I ask God to surround them all with His peaceful loving comforting healing arms.

Just wanted to give you an update on Tanner. As I write this Tanner is being transported to Iowa City to the peds ICU. There is a pediatric cardiologist over there that the cardiologist at Blank has been communicating with regarding the issues with Tanner’s heart. Tests have shown that the issues that Tanner has experienced was not due to a virus. They will test his heart to make sure, but it looks likely that Tanner will have to have a defibrillator installed. However still up in the air at this point. It’s nothing until it’s something . . . right????? Please keep prayers going for Tanner, as well as Amy.
