prayer
‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ Philippians 4:6-7
Prayer Requests During the Week
Prayer requests can be submitted anytime during the week by:

- Notifying any staff member
- Email the church office at Office@lccaltoona.org
Prayer Line
Our Prayer Line is a weekly email listing prayer concerns from members of our congregation. If you have a concern you’d like included on the Internet Prayer-line or if you’d like to join the prayer-line, contact Laurel.
Prayer Room
The Prayer Room, where individuals or groups can gather to pray, is located behind the Welcome Center near the Worship Center. As we commit ourselves to prayer, God’s plans and purposes for us are revealed in amazing ways.
Prayer Request Forms
Personal prayer requests can be submitted to the Prayer Team, the Staff, or to the Prayer Line. Communication cards (found in the bulletin) can be placed in the offering plate or given to an usher or staff member.
Prayer Requests Following Worship
There are members from the Prayer Team available to pray with you following each service. You will be directed during worship as to where they will be located.
Prayer Wall
How can we pray for you? Post your prayer request on our prayer wall below. You can choose to have the request be anonymous, or not shared on the prayer wall at all. Or, for a private prayer request, use the “contact” tab to send a message to the office with your prayer request.
Terri Graeve
Please put Debbie Banks on your prayer list. She was just diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. This is a degenerative brain disorder that cannot be cured or reversed. It is very very rare. The Mayo Clinic site says it is 1 to 2 people per million that are diagnosed. She has attended LCC, and lives in Altoona. She is a 1978 SEP graduate. I have known her since 6th grade. Please pray for God to give her peace and comfort, and for her siblings, children and grandchildren to have strength and peace as well. They are surrounding her with love and taking care of her at home. She is a wonderful person that has the greatest smile and personality and has always brought happiness to those around her. Please pray for our Lord to allow her to be pain free and get her to her next chapter in her life.
