PRAYER

Let us pray for whatever is on your heart.

Did you know that during each of our weekend worship services, you are being prayed for? Members of this team spend time in prayer either at home, in the prayer chapel, or wherever they choose. You do not need to pray outloud or even with other people. Guidance and training is provided for this area of service.

Prayer for Schools

What better way to cover our schools, students and staff with the blessings and protection of God than to gather and pray for the coming school year.

  • For Southeast Polk Schools, we are partnering with “Inspire our Schools” which will have prayer leaders at all school buildings in the district.  You can just show up at your school of choice at 7 pm on Sunday, August 21 to pray alongside others in your community.
  • For Bondurant Farrar Schools, there will be a community prayer service on Sunday, August 21 at 6:30 pm at Bondurant Federated.  Or, if you prefer, you may go directly to the schools at any time as we have in the past and use the prayer guide provided below.
I prayed for this

Prayed for 10 times.

Terri Graeve

Please put Debbie Banks on your prayer list. She was just diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. This is a degenerative brain disorder that cannot be cured or reversed. It is very very rare. The Mayo Clinic site says it is 1 to 2 people per million that are diagnosed. She has attended LCC, and lives in Altoona. She is a 1978 SEP graduate. I have known her since 6th grade. Please pray for God to give her peace and comfort, and for her siblings, children and grandchildren to have strength and peace as well. They are surrounding her with love and taking care of her at home. She is a wonderful person that has the greatest smile and personality and has always brought happiness to those around her. Please pray for our Lord to allow her to be pain free and get her to her next chapter in her life.
